Most chat-facing LLMs are currently built to please rather than to speak truth

it's not the industry, it's just human nature, balancing between greed (or pleasure, as you see it) or fear. Every social media project (farcaster included) leverages dopamine triggering to thrive. 

To find and speak the truth, well, I think we're on our own. It's a solo job.
