the single best piece of self-help advice i can give: move. actions (however small) beget actions. motivation follows action, not the other way around. the earlier you start, the easier it becomes. do one pushup. put one dish in the dishwasher. walk to the mailbox...whatever. just move.

I appreciate the notion but my experience is to find anything you want to commit to doing regularly and do it regularly, no excuses. After a short period of consistency your mental resistance breaks and your able to feed off that energy. The problem with just move is it takes more than that to break the cycle of resistance. It’s easier than our mind allows us to believe
