A week after not knowing what DEGEN was and never having posted on Warpcast, today I claimed my first season of “tips.” Thank you for everyone who welcomed me and shared tips. This is a novel type of interaction on social media that has been built into the platform and I believe it serves a positive role in creating “thicker” connections between users. This is important for maintaining a positive platform culture that is resilient and doesn’t devolve into open conflict like some others.

I am someone with a reasonable degree of familiarity with crypto and was able to figure out how to claim the tips after about half an hour of playing around with it. I believe the learning curve may still be a little high for a newly onboarded user not previously familiar with MetaMask, Ethereum, linking wallets and similar concepts. Having read up a bit I see that the integration is new and I’m confident the developers will take more steps to create a seamless experience for new users in a future mass onboarding.
