there's nothing wrong with founders who stay solo or want to stay small to build & ship.  However, if you do decide to grow then you need to grow alongside the team.

Leadership is a skill set that requires one to release control, not embrace it, as you build out a team.

While just as time consuming sometimes as the dev, it's essential to empower and inspire vs oversee.

i do wonder how much ai can expand the scope+ambition of projects founders are able to take on solo. i’ve spent a lot of time expanding my own capabilities using ai.

i think ai def helps in all stages if smartly embraced. tbh, most of the limited agent automation tools even w/o ai helps as well such as auto email reply, website bots, support ticketing, etc. 

imo the biggest challenge for any co is finding time for sales/marketing/awareness/service whether ur building community or ensuring customer happiness beyond a canned bot decision tree, etc. 

most products don’t typically promote themselves so someone still has to stand on the soap box and be the evangelist
