/microsub + $DEGEN community: we need your help! many members of the community are reaching out to us about accounts being disqualified from $DEGEN tipping and about how the rules around tip farming could be improved. (as far as we know, using /microsub is still completely safe and folks are being banned for other reasons) the large number of fragmented discussions has stopped being productive, so i wanted to create a single, public thread to use for this discussion with the community do you think yourself or others are being wrongfully disqualified? how do you think the $DEGEN leaders and community should address the farming issue? feel free to respond with one of the anon accounts if you'd prefer; we'd love to hear from anyone with an opinion!

Thank you for creating this thread, there are actually a lot of questions. I'm a little upset now and not ready to give any advice on improving the rules, I think like many who were affected by this. The morning is wiser than the evening. But I didn’t break any rules, and realizing this makes it doubly offensive. The hat stays in place no matter what happens.

i just don't understand how someone gets banned without breaking any "(un)written rule". the rule - which i think got most of us banned - is do NOT receive and give 15 tips to 1 user. seems a bit unfair to me. but i'm sure there will be a solution soon.

A small idea, what if you are already using microsub for a user and still tip him besides microsub. This does get you in a danger zone with the tip4tip rules. What if the tipping bot replies to you that you are already subbed to him?

To a large extent I don’t think degen rewards as much good content as it used to, before anybody at all could get tipped for bangers or whatever but now it just seems all closed—Most people who don’t care for it just have their people on microsubs its really cool but compared to when I joined may last year there’s been a drastic downturn in vibe What do you think @brixbounty ?

as long as the crypto will exist - there will be scammers, farmers and bots(( it’s just very disappointing when you support guys every day (yes, mostly support ordinary guys, who supports community and share their thoughts, cool shots and cats (damn, I love cats)), you are careful that the tips don’t just burn out, bring someone joy and lift their spirits. I often just do everything at the last moment, but I always try to do it. I always adhere to the position of “criticize? Suggest!” 1. change,dynamics are good. But like this in hysterics and in one day - it’s bad. If the rules change, write new rules at the beginning of each season and apply them then 2. If we want to support and grow the community, then all members must take part in it. There are "big" guys that don't communicate with simple accounts, and their allowance simply burns out day after day. 3. support and feedback team. In fact, if a problem occurs, there is no one on the degen team to turn to. imho

I didn’t blame /microsub when I went to Degen jail. I blamed the data lag on the stat calls. Often get conflicting calls from @degentipbot.eth , @nikolaii.eth , @ @edit s frames, but only Nikolaii’s has the T4T counter. I was at 13 🐸 so I tip, then another tip from 6hrs ago comes in & WHAM! 15. 🤦
