this is such a poignant counter to hustle culture…i don’t fully understand why everyone is so eager to conflate working hours and personal sacrifice with the very nondeterministic factors that lead to “success” maybe bc survivors brag about this?

totally separate vector you need to hustle for a long time to build something great you just might not get recognized for it as quickly as you hope
