Following this post of @87bones, here is a thread with my personal view about running out of money and calculated risk for the DAO.

I believe it would be great to have more props able to give back to the treasury, *if successful*. Some examples: 1) If we fund a *successful* physical collection, it would be great to have back at least the $ the DAO invested for production. 2) If we fund a *successful* software platform, it would be great to have a % of its fees/revenue. 3) If we fund a *successful* irl business, it would be great to have a % of the yearly profit.

The question we should all ask ourselves is: What if we could all work (truly) together to launch and expand projects that in 1-2 years could make auctions only a tiny part of the DAO revenue? Working together also means spending time answering the DMs of another builder. It means finding new ways to integrate nounish projects together creating synergies.

With NNS Labs we are working hard to create a solid precedent that could show other builders that being funded and create profitable infrastructures shared with the ecosystem it's a real possibility. If other Exceptional builders could do the same in their area (some of many examples: @wiz @martin @seneca for software @bigshotklim David Horvat for physicals @drewcoffman.eth @87bones for irl) Nouns movement could become truly unstoppable. That kind of collaboration is often underrated in our ecosystem, but it could change everything. Get funded, grow, give back, create synergies. Grow more, give back more, more synergies. Repeat.

@spencerperkins.eth and @papercliplabs with Nounswap are a perfect example of the giving back and the creation of synergies I'm referring too. And obviously there are many more!
