I have found the poetry community to be welcoming. I'll be the first to say, I don't do the best job of reaching out - I tend to find a handful of folks that I'm comfortable with and then get complacent 🤷‍♂️ I do earn a little there. If a piece gets boosted it can make a huge difference. I had a couple of months where I earned a few hundred dollars because of boosts, but a typical month is more likely to be around $30 - $60.  I currently have 1139 followers there and 20 subscribers, but I have no idea if my earnings are typical or not for that number of followers.

Oh and I would love to have it be my primary focus - if I could live off of my writing (and art) I would be one happy doodler!! :)

Just out of curiosity, I know it's not your primary focus, but how is the earning over at Medium these days? Do you earn on your poems there? I did a little when I was there. Is there still a nice poetry community there?
