It seems to me that followers on social media are sort of like compound interest - the more you have, the more you keep accruing. It appears that once you get to a certain level, it takes off and keeps growing. Just a thought I had when I was offering advice to someone to try and gain more followers on here. The first 500 is the most difficult.

I finally got to 500. But it still has stalled for me. Granted I haven’t been super active recently. Maybe it would pick up if I tried harder

But you were supposed to be taking a hiatus, no? LOL But it helps to reply on other people's posts and not just people you know, but also new people that you don't know yet and then you can make a new friend and a follower. That is how it happened to me. It takes a lot of time though.

Yes. It’s dead. So it’s like beating a dead horse til I can spend more time building it again.  I am off to the mountains 🏔️ see you next week!
