Blobs are part of the chain just like calldata is.

Today (or rather, this week), default nodes store blobs temporarily, but with EIP 4444 calldata is going to get the same treatment.

The endgame has for a long time been: all nodes do real-time validation; p2p networks store history.

Two client diversity updates!

@coinbase has committed to 50% Nethermind by the end of the month and @kiln actually ALREADY DID switch to 50% Nethermind! 

These two operators together represent ~20% of the network, so that's a 10 percentage point shift downward in Geth's majority right there. We're getting closer!

👉 Last month, we committed to migrate part of Kiln’s validator to a non-majority Ethereum execution layer client.

🏁 Today, we are glad to share that more than half of Kiln’s 42,000 managed validators now run on Nethermind!

We did it! 

50.1% of Kiln’s ETH validators now run on Nethermind!
