what's the situation with George R. R. Martin and Game of Thrones? it's been a long time since his last book, is he still planning to finish the series? i might be interested in reading the books if his ending is better than the hbo abomination

GRRM doesn't know how to ship, I wouldn't hold your breath the last book has been a work in progress for over a decade, apparently he had a sizeable manuscript for the 6th book completed in 2012 and that's the last real update from him I heard

right exactly my point, I never said he doesn't know how to write his name is synonymous with dragging your feet when it comes to actually delivering, it's not my opinion it's literally a meme that he's spoken on in interviews lol I have a lot of respect for him doesn't mean he knows how to ship

great point I definitely can agree with you it’s one of those things where that’s why musical labels and marketing agencies exist because an artist/creator can only be and do so much depending on their own individual mental capacity and skills allow. I just find it funny someone as successful as him is labeled that.

true the amount of time it takes to write doesn't reflect quality as much as just how the individual writer works guys like Stephen King can put out quality books multiple times a year, because that's just how he writes vs. R.R. who takes his time and delivers a totally different kind of story
