Telling Bitcoin rollups are more secure because Ethereum rollups have governance & multisigs is a joke. To handle this, you might be; - Ossified: You're fucked if there's a bug in your BitVM implementation. - Upgrade regularly: You will have the same problem with ETH Rollups.

You can also be a sovereign rollup, which means you're losing some security properties that you could get from Bitcoin. This is the same problem, that needs to be solved in Bitcoin rollups as well. Do not fall with false claims.

Disclaimer: I support both Citrea and Strata. And I believe Bitcoin L2s is answering a need in the Bitcoin market. However, the Ethereum and Bitcoin rollups are quite different in terms of both their security properties and their scaling limits.

Bitcoin rollups aren’t rollups at all, right? Bitcoin script is not powerful enough to settle a rollup with permissionless exit. They are sidechains
