if you’re ever annoyed with a .webp file that isn’t compatible with xyz, macOS has a handy built-in way to convert to jpg, png, or heif: right click > Quick Actions > Convert Image

You can create an Automator app for this and leave it in the Dock. That way, you can just drag and drop to change formats faster.
