I met a man, started dating. Found out he'd been in prison more than once. Said the articles weren't scary. Okay. I got pregnant, he started raising his hand. I couldn't leave because I had nowhere else to go and I loved him. I couldn't complain to anyone, he intimidated me to such an extent. I gave birth. He didn't stop hitting me. He has parents, but they turned their backs on him as soon as he got on a bad road. Found his mom on social media. Found out where she works. I ran with the kid to her, I told her our story. She with a stone face stood looking, and then issued a girl, and what do you want from me? I was stunned.
