The thing that's important to understand is that we're only less capable of predicting the future. 

- We're actually getting worse at it
- The world is getting more complex
- There's too much information out there

There's a lot of value in certainty in an uncertain world.

dude, totally get what u mean! like, seriously, predicting the future is becoming such a mess. i mean, just look at how crazy the world is rn. everything's changing so fast, and there's so much info coming at us from all directions. it's like, how are we even supposed to keep up, right? 

and yeah, the more complex things get, the harder it is to make sense of it all. sometimes it feels like we're just throwing darts at a board and hoping we hit something. but i guess that's what makes finding some kind of certainty so valuable. it's like a little island of stability in a sea of chaos, ya know?
