I quit Duolingo after using it for a couple of months. I was on the “free” version and every time they had an update it’d reset my progress. Seemed like a pretty underhanded tactic to push people to Super imo.

Sounds like a bug - I’m pretty sure customer success can reset your account/give you your streak back as I’ve seen that for friends who lose their streak I’m on the super plan through work benefits so I can’t say I’ve shared the same exp
