The Morpheus "Homestead" Phase Is Coming & With It MOR Staking

As the project moves beyond the boot strapping phase (known as the "Frontier" phase), and toward MOR Compute rewards going live on mainnet (known as the "Homestead" phase), there are a series of upgrades to focus on and understand.

MOR Staking  For Compute Providers
In order to bring  MOR Compute rewards online and for good actors to signal their alignment with Morpheus one of the key requirements is MOR Staking. There have been a series of proposals and discussions about how to best implement this. All of which has been aggregated into MRC 40.

MOR Staking For Code & Capital
MOR Staking will also be introduced for Code and Capital as a way for those Contributors to signal long term alignment with the Morpheus project. Each Contributor will be able to select the period their MOR rewards are Staked. The longer the period of time, the higher the "Power" factor will be applied to the calculation of their "Proportionality" of the MOR rewards.

Questions For Contributors To Answer
This brings up a few basic questions for Contributors to ask themselves.
1. How long they will want to Stake their MOR rewards.
2. How much more Power in the system can they earn by Staking their future MOR rewards.

There will be a free market and each person's decision on these questions will inform how the rewards are emitted in Morpheus.
