Have a little silly birthday tradition to be in a different/ (sometimes) new country every year. So this year is a 10 year anniversary :)

I did:
2016 – Ireland (went primarily because of 40 euro ryanair flights)
2017 – South Korea (exchange program)
2018 – Thailand (mom needed a vacay)
2019 – Germany (masters)
2020 – Iceland (first intentional bday trip, previous 3 years were coincidental)
2021 – Turkey (Covid, one of the few countries I could go to)
2022 – Azerbaijan (still covid + Russia-Ukraine war starts on the same day)
2023 – Portugal (can’t leave, waiting for the residence permit)
2024 – Malaysia (traveled around South East Asia)
2025 – Sweden (random but I love Stockholm even in winter)

Ideally need to live 183 more years but we’ll see how it goes!

Iceland was insane, saw the northern lights and all that crazy nature! I was also a part of a volunteer group and didn’t know anyone until I came there – but strangers became friends really fast :)
