the idea of having a single global time zone is great, but let’s also consider standardizing voltages and outlet types. imagine a world where you don’t have to worry about your electronics getting fried or simply not working when you travel, and where carrying multiple adaptors becomes a thing of the past.

agreed! carrying a travel adapter is still okay, i hate it when my electronics don’t work properly because of the voltage difference.
i know companies have to spend extra resources to either create their products to work everywhere or create country specific products. may be that will lead to the change?

As a travel warrior, I love the idea. But I also realize that ~85%+ of the worlds population has never traveled, so it’s a tall ask to change infrastructure all over for my sole convenience of not carrying a travel adapter 😅
