I’ve been very very lucky to never have any trouble in japan. I leave my laptop and purse sitting at the table while I go to the bathroom. I couldn’t do that anywhere else in the world.

Amazing. They might be people of peace then, unlike other Asian countries... I guess so

I wear my giant Bose headphones listening to music walking along at 2 AM in the morning. 

If I did that in NYC you’d read about my dead body in the paper.

I'll consider it among my options when travelling overseas. I like Paris, though. What do you think about there?

I haven’t been to Paris since before Covid so my intel is out of date. @samantha was recently there and sounded like they had to watch for pick pockets. 

I’ve never even thought about pick pockets in Japan. It’s why I love staying there. I feel super safe. Safer than I feel in America for sure.
