Destroyer is a study I have been developing intermittently over the past year. My curiosity led me to seek an expression of the duality in human nature and their interrelation: one side tangibly organic, the other entirely digitized, both encapsulated in one being. This was initially achieved by blending my browser traffic data into frequencies guiding the motion of a digital creature, to create an asynchronous rhythm. When the opportunity to showcase with Fakewhale Gallery arose, I thought it was the perfect chance to elevate the project and introduce another dimension to this performative study. Fortunately, Shojiro Nakaoka (@shojironakaoka on X) accepted the challenge by providing his superb audio data. Now, with another artistic identity at play, the concept was full circle: two separate entities, existing in different mediums, becoming one - an asynchronous composition for an asynchronous idea. I see the outcome as a performative experience and remaining true to this idea, I chose to release it as an open edition - priced like a show ticket and formatted as a collectible - to spread far and wide into the collective imagination online and offline. Destroyer #DS01FW is open for mint now until the 25th of February. Thank you to @fakewhale for the opportunity πŸ–€ Thank you Shojiro for entrusting me with your art πŸ–€ And thank you all for experiencing the performance πŸ–€ https://objkt.com/tokens/KT1Feeb2hAvAnR4vqU2XC5HKXdQNYUZLbHsM/680

Very nice. Expressive forma that can map to changes in the soundscape is always satisfying! 30 $DEGEN
