The Feds arrested Joe Sanberg, co-founder of the financial services company Aspiration, on Monday for allegedly defrauding two investor funds of $145 million. The DOJ accuses him of getting someone to secure loans from investors while knowing the person didn't have the means to cover the loans, hiding it from the investors, and then defaulting on the loans. https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/pr/joseph-sanberg-co-founder-aspiration-partners-arrested-conspiring-defraud-investment Given the timing, this case surely began under Biden, whose DOJ apparently pursued this despite Sanberg's status as a medium-sized Democratic donor and progressive activist (his work on the latter was more generous). More evidence of the DOJ doing its job regardless of target. https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=joe%20sanberg
