You can be as powerful as you want, if no one trust you there is nothing you can do. Short term deals will be made. But long term people are looking at other markets. The good part is that it's the perfect opportunity for the EU to pick up the slack. And even some African countries can take advantage of this. Don't sit down and wait when someone else shoots themselves in the foot.
