Last year I won 11 design awards. This year I won Zero. Getting these types of successes are amazing and gives me a great feeling of pride and accomplishment. But now, a year later it also creates anxiety as it’s hard to achieve the same levels of success each time. It can be mind-numbing at times even. I have the tendency to start procrastinating because I feel nothing is worthy enough. Or hell I’m not worthy. But if there is one thing I have learned. Get up en start over again. You won’t achieve success by sitting there. It might take time to achieve this level again. But each step brings you closer. Who knows, maybe I win 12 next year. Note to self: Get out there!

I feel you Dealing with procrastination and the feeling of constantly having to one up yourself and achieve ever growing success is hard Sometimes you just gotta appreciate your past accomplishments and look forward to future ones without worrying too much about how big the future accomplishments will be compared to the past Just do what makes you happy in the end

Right on! I can relate to the feeling of not being good enough or not wanting to start because you feel like “you’ve waited too long”. I spent years just barely scraping by because I didn’t think I was good enough to go back to my old career after being arrested. Finally I just took 1 step toward it and then all the other steps afterward were easier. 🙌🏼
