Building an AI Bot in Public (cont.)

Change Log for today:
- Refactored code to use "messages" array in the chat completions API instead of the "one massive prompt" approach.  Conversation history between user and bot is being passed in as messages, instead of injected into prompt. 
- Implemented 'user', 'assistant', and 'developer' roles within to improve response quality.
- Set the max_token_count for responses to 200, which limits the length of replies. Can't believe I didn't know this existed as I was trying to "prompt" the AI to give short enough responses. 🤦 
- Moved bot fid to an env var, instead of hard coding it

These changes build on the code I deployed earlier this week which gives the bot access to metadata so it can answer general questions about the gm farcaster network.

I appreciate everyone who keeps tagging the bot and playing with it so I can see how it works and what needs to be improved.

Inspired by @adrienne, I'm sharing progress on my own fun weekend project: @germanify: convert any cast into the long German word that inevitably exists for it.

initial commit was:
- write the LLM call to produce the output
- handle images in a request
- automate posting on the main feed from the germanify bot
- profile picture generated by Bing Co-pilot, which is the best for logos!

tomorrow I'm going for a hike with my brother, but Sunday evening:
- set up webhook to listen for tags
- FC/Neynar api work to pull the relevant cast and reply to it

And then it's done. Cute, fun, and simple.

Suggestion for levelling up: Use Finnish for the next version. That would get you even longer words with much fewer vowels (but with frequent "yy" and "ää" combinations).
