we desperately need to stop with the rebrands >web3 >dapps >nfts >socialfi >play-to-earn >gamefi none of these have been beneficial for crypto in the slightest & have only added to the perception problem we face unfortunately, even the word “blockchain” has become cringe acceptable terms: >crypto >stablecoin >memecoin

Agreed with the sentiment, but the perception of 'crypto' is not exactly positive either. Neither are memecoins a particularly noteworthy use case that could convince non-crypto natives.

true tho “crypto” feels arguably the least pretentious and is also the most well known similarly memecoins is just another term that everyone knows and is intuitive my concern is more about adding unnecessary complexity
