last year, i started hosting a Topics of Controversy dinner series.

each dinner is anchored around a taboo topic and kicks off with a few thought-provoking questions before we dive into a respectful discussion / debate.

my biggest takeaway? 

people LOVE to learn IRL with and from each other.

we need more of this.

the other part is finding and encouraging people (like me) to put in the effort to make these conversations happen.
