8, but definitely not for everyone. For reference, I also like Zack Snyder's Justice League. I like superhero fan service and I won't feel bad about it 😂

✊ I like the directors cut of JL. I’ll almost never shit on a super hero movie or series considering how terrible the options and special effects were when I was a kid. I  appreciate almost all of them, including the ones I don’t watch.

I have not seen the new joker movie.

I heard it’s meh 🫤 and too musical 
It has a bad rating all over the internet 
But I’ll give it a try when it’s out on digital

I’m not into musicals, so that’s already a turn off. I’m hoping there will at least be a few decent villainous scenes and a few bad enough to get some decent jokes out of.

I hope so too… but the main let down for me is when the director said Arthur is not the joker.. I mean wait what?

Seems like that could work if done well. Can’t recall reading any that was done for the Joker, but haven’t kept up on Batman much since the 90’s, except The Dark Knight Returns sequels and Spawn crossovers. 

Do you recommend any particular graphic novel or issues? I usually wind up in Forbidden Planet killing time about once a month browsing for about a 1/2 hr before maybe getting a book or Tshirt. Be nice to actually know what I want next time I’m there.

comics have explored that too, with joker being represented differently over time.
