I'm working on a fantasy campaign world that is rule set agnostic. It will focus on story, plot hooks, & compelling NPCs. It will be available for free online, and the campaign world will change based on NFT holder participation. https://paragraph.xyz/@danadams1278gmail.com/participatory-nfts-web-3-and-dnd-meet

Good question, and one that @sahil could better answer...but my assumption is that it is up to the community to supply the token, and this will provide the agent responsible for distributing based on community involvement. Think of the "rituals", but supercharging engagement by incentivizing it. At a previous farcaster dev meetup, I had heard that the term “channel entrepreneurs” was brought up. I think its brilliant. I keep using Facebook as a comparison. Facebook has over 1B users participating in Groups. What is missing from these groups is ownership and shared upside for participating and growing the community or group. If I'm understanding correctly, this could create that.

Neat frame! Smart building in tagging other casters on the share.

@ispeaknerd.eth @cameron check this out. Thoughts on something for /tabletop and /creators ? @sahil any interest in letting me try this out with a small channel and using it for growth? I'm specifically interested in hearing about the "launch and distribute channel tokens portion".

Never played Earth. Ark Nova is simply fantastic, though. If you're looking for a game with similar mechanics to Wingspan, Raising Robots is it. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/366683/raising-robots

I'm building part-time. 🤷 I have a full-time job and a family, so I fit it in where I can...lately, it helps having synergies with things that I plan to do with the kids anyway (like gaming). I'm a recovering founder and an average coder.

The mechanics are quite a bit different. It took me a couple games to get a feel for it. I'm not a huge fan of the zoo theme, but Ark Nova is quite simply one of the best board games ever made. It truly is great. Top 2 for me.

In my opinion, it is the BEST trick-taking game. However, knowing bidding conventions is a huge part of the game, so you'll need others willing to commit to learning the game. Communicating what is in your hand through bidding (and arriving at a proper bid) is part of the game.

Oh! trick-taking games?! Ever play Bridge? LOVE it. It has been awhile since I've played...but that is my favorite.

I have been bouncing between a couple board game groups, and one seems more open to games like Gaia Project and Le Havre. I love my main gaming group, but they definitely gravitate towards a certain set of games...Agricola and Ark Nova are definitely higher up there. Terraforming Mars actually gets less play there.

Also, summoning @keridwen. Dan, if you haven't seen her onchain novel, check it out. It is beautiful and artful - the sort of thing that I wanted to see in NFTs for so long. I wrote about it here: https://app.t2.world/article/cm3j6lzvv66733920mcizwehcro Scroll down to the "Examples of the 'build first' approach"

Nice. I'll give it a look. I admit that Agricola is the only Uwe Rosenberg game that I play with any regularity. While I have played several others, I haven't found any like Agricola that I continue to come back to again and again.

I admit...I don't watch much Youtube with regularity. Typically, I go there if I need something. /okbanger is probably the only stream I watch. 🤷 I used to watch Rick Steves travel videos (kinda liked the historical bent). Without a doubt, Mr Beast is worth studying, though. Instead though, I can answer #2 and 3 for /okbanger : 2. The topic is often what can get me to commit to watching, and I enjoy the conversations and where your minds go....philosophical and humanistic. 3. Most often, I'm working while listening. I save the tedious/low mental energy work for OKBanger time (so that I can put more attention into listening...and occasionally contributing).
