I'm working on a fantasy campaign world that is rule set agnostic. It will focus on story, plot hooks, & compelling NPCs. It will be available for free online, and the campaign world will change based on NFT holder participation. https://paragraph.xyz/@danadams1278gmail.com/participatory-nfts-web-3-and-dnd-meet

One of my new favorite sites for adding realism to D&D games: https://www.medievalists.net/2025/01/surviving-winter-middle-ages/

I didn't yet. I'm going to get invites out shortly. I think we'll try me, @wakkin, and @links at one table, and me, @ispeaknerd.eth , you, and @reese at another. Their user search seems a little broken on BGA, so trying to friend Reese by passing the ID through the query string rather than using the search. 🤷‍♂️

Flavor text for a D&D adventure and campaign: The sandstone pillars, known by locals as “The Soldiers”, stand grey and gargantuan, jutting out over the landscape as the Forest of Wyrtithe breaks around them. There is something unsettling and otherworldly about them. In the dimming light of the setting sun, they cast monstrous shadows that stretch toward you, darkening the forest and blackening the ground to pitch. Against this backdrop stands a single, solitary tree - the one that the people of Thaerum Cast call “The Weeping Tree”. For the past several hundred years, this is where executions were held - ropes pulled taut across the bleach-white branches of the witch-wood tree. Stark and skeletal, The Weeping Tree crouches hungrily on a rock shelf, its thick roots digging like tendrils around its base. From several of its claw-like branches hang corpses, left to the weather and rot. Skulls from previous occupants have been stacked in the cavities formed by its roots.

This is great! could you give more context on to how you see this used? Is this focused mainly on user relevance and bot labels? Or are you seeing use cases (eventually) outside of this?

Gonna start posting campaign notes with regularity. The Weeping Tree is going to be the first encounter in the new Thaerum Cast campaign, so sharing some of that first. 3D printed mini (it's creepy) is in an earlier cast. Working on the battle map too. 🙂

Working on a website to house D&D campaign notes. My goals is to make it public, so that anyone can use it and build into it. Laying the groundwork first. What do you think of the flavor text for "The Weeping Tree"?

I got to play a couple games of Brass Birmingham while at Origins, and enjoyed it quite a bit. Agricola is a game that is a slow burn...it took a dozen games before it hit me. As for Amun Re, I do enjoy it, but the bidding element can throw off the game a little...that is my only gripe (but it is a minor one).

Hmm....I can try again. Not sure who didn't confirm, but BGA gave up on our game. 😆

Cass is my favorite. I've had her since mint. She was the one who started it all.

I admit to that being a problem with my regular group...there is NO WAY they would throw down on this, given the time a game takes (not to mention the time to learn it). However, I have another group that I have started playing with infrequently...and I think they would be up for it...
