Elves are taller in D&D. They're essentially Tolkien elves. Gnomes are smaller, so fit the "Santa's Workshop" better. I know another group that did a Christmas Krampus adventure. 😆 I've never done these...the most I've done is match stuff seasonally. Horror-themed for Halloween, harsh winter environs for the winter season...
