I drove up to Cincy to play D&D only to discover that 2 of the players cancelled last minute. 😆 So, we played a couple games of Ark Nova, got some Emerald Flame time in, and (finally) got Gaia Project on to the table. Sounds like I have some folks willing to play GP now. (photo taken round 1 of the game)

@wakkin - finally got Gaia Project back out, and I think I now have a couple players willing to play it with more regularity.

The mechanics are quite a bit different. It took me a couple games to get a feel for it. I'm not a huge fan of the zoo theme, but Ark Nova is quite simply one of the best board games ever made. It truly is great. Top 2 for me.

im considering getting my sister Ark Nova for xmas, she LOVES wingspan, is there enough overlap beyond just theming?
