Honestly in the spirit of capitalism and democracy I don’t really care. If the US wants to win, it needs to ship better social apps. If people are actually upset about privacy, let them vote. Restricting technology has always been a loser’s game.

I agree with you (and so do we lol) If it’s urgent enough, the US will just shut down phones en masse full stop. My point is that if it’s the best product out there, Americans will find a way to use jailbroken TikTok just like they pirated movies, music, etc until it was clearly better to just not do that.
