China extradited from Thailand the founder of the cryptocurrency pyramid MBI Group, the damage from whose activities is estimated at $14 billion. The project attracted more than 10 million participants who paid from $98 to $34,300 for membership. In March 2021, Interpol China issued a Red Notice to citizen Zhang. Thai police arrested him in July 2022, and a Thai court ordered Zhang's extradition to China in May this year.
