Holy shite. Nouns governance grew a backbone! Love to see how economic sustainability finally became a thing.

VCs sometimes only care about the next upround. Maybe they saw the potential in an upround.

Interesting. Time to rewrite Nouns Token, deploy on @base and allow migration of existing Nouns via /layerzero stack :)

Yep, seems unlikely to happen by mistake. But still good to know this vuln exists.

Important notice for all noun owners and delegates We were recently approached by 0xkasper from @hexens, a white hat security team, who found a new attack vector based on a vulnerability we were aware of in the Nouns token contract. Nouns tech grants pod has initiated a bounty payment of 30K USDC to the team. TLDR * Who’s at risk? Noun owners delegating to EOA accounts (not smart contract accounts). * What’s the damage? Noun NFTs can become non-transferrable with no voting power. * How likely is it to happen? The probability is low if you trust your delegates and their wallet security setup; otherwise please consider changing your delegation immediately. I have this theory that all these dapps, games, jpegs, chains, bridges, layers we’ve been creating for years now on average merely have the net effect of value flowing towards wallets that are more willing to sell than buy. Project this forward in time… if we don’t get a killer app soon, ETHER price tends to zero.

Announcement: Today, the Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) became the first U.S. ETP to publish its Ethereum addresses and set ENS subnames for each address. 1.ethw.bitwise.eth -> 0xa15c...2A69 2.ethw.bitwise.eth -> 0xEd92...b4eF 3.ethw.bitwise.eth -> 0x3339...7cB5 4.ethw.bitwise.eth -> 0x7716...eec8 5.ethw.bitwise.eth -> 0x6F28...57Ed This is the sort of transparency only crypto makes possible. It allows anyone to verify ETHW’s holdings and flows directly on the blockchain, and it lets people easily build public dashboards or write smart contracts that utilize the available ENS records. We’re proud to bring onchain transparency to ETHW in an Ethereum-native way. We will add more addresses as the fund grows. You can always find the up-to-date addresses on http://ethwetf.com.

I don't care too much what happens with ETH price post-ETF. I just care that the world has proven to be more sane because ETH ETFs were allowed to exist by the powers at large.
