Artificial general intelligence. It's loosely defined at best, but the idea is: an AI that matches human-level abilities on a set of tasks as wide as what we can do.

Some people then draw a distinction between this and "ASI", artificial super intelligence.

Personally, I think AGI will naturally be superior, by virtue of its nature. That is, you can scale with compute. Current models already feel superhuman in their ability to instantly parse what you tell them.
