i want citycaster to be a hub for all things farcaster + IRL

got any ideas?

some i’m thinking of:
- checkins / social foursquare style games
- turning city-based FC channels into group chats (w/ notifications!)
- show which fellow community-members and fc friends are in each city
- informal meetup organizing

Superlocal has created Foursquare style check-ins onchain, haven't looked at their changes recently. Last time I checked, it was a pay-to-mint to become 'mayor' of a location...

would you pay to mint a checkin? that feels expensive... I would just use FC

No, I wouldn't. The check-ins are free, it's just the mayorship you have to pay for (and it was on ETH L1 last year, so not cheap)...and the money doesn't go to the checked-in business

Yeah it is social. Didn't use it frequently because it was on iOS and I don't use my iPad often.
