Was feeling inspired - ended up "ok"

- espresso shot
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 1 oz cointreau (needed simple syrup)
- bitters
- coffee grounds + beans for garnish

Right on! Kind of an Espresso Mezcalarita. Might also be good lengthened with soda water?

Also worth checking out the Carajillo, it's the Spanish version of the Italian Café Corretto. Usually rum or brandy is used in combination with Licor 43, but it looks like some have tried Mezcal:
