It's not just her, though she lead this specific effort in 2022 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2022-01-30/Opinion). There are a lot of problems with the Wikimedia foundation, similar to other non-profits like EFF, Fight for the Future, and Signal, they have positioned themselves as anti-big-tech, which is fine, but then they loop crypto in with 'big tech' alongside 'all a scam.'

Also the Wikimedia foundation has tons of funding, so much so that they pass through the money to fund other nonprofits. It's fine if they want to fund other nonprofits, but they should probably say this upfront instead of campaigning with banners like they're shutting down tomorrow.
