Just did a test to see where I should exchange my money... it seems that onchain foreign exchange is cheaper than offchain after fees A comparison of swapping 1000 USD to EUR: Llamaswap (via @matchaxyz): 894 euro (USDC -> EURC -> offramp for free via bitstamp) Bank 1: Revolut: 885.23 eur Bank 2: Bunq: 890 euro Bank 3: Wise: 890 euro Exchange Xe: 881 euro

And the other direction is also cheaper onchain (in case there was a temporary depeg) 1000 EURC -> 1114 USDC via matcha 1000 EUR -> 1109 USD via Wise

just shows how much these banks are always taking from us. Not to mention the speed on which the tx are made, onchain is faster always

Similar to my experience. It seems that matchaxyz for DEFI also offers some of the best quotes, the only other way to get better results for me was to make your own UI or script that doesn't have any fee and interacts directly with pools.
