At the end of 2024 I'd like to see a credible second Farcaster client with >5% market share. What do you think it'll take to get there?

Here's the scenarios I see most likely:

1. App with distribution, ex: top 5 wallet builds a FC comment section
2. An open source client w/ $ incentives to contribute
3. Memecoin rewards to use client
4. Android focused client w very strong team & funding
5. Channel focused iOS client w very strong team & funding

this is for at least 3 months of 5% market share, not a short term campaign

7. A free client entirely subsidizing user registration cost

8. A Lens app with distribution integrates Farcaster

6. Casting only client on iOS done really well & simple. Fastest way to cast

android is neglected by Warpcast team bc its a small % of users. 

iOS isn‘t, so its much harder to compete directly. 

Not talking technology here, but doing many things really well from scratch when competing w very well funded & more advanced competitors is hard

why the difference between opportunities for iOS and Android? react-native would give you both or you think pure native ios/android has a better chance

Client could take a small percentage of any client managed memecoin transactions. A penny per scales beautifully.

1. I think any major wallet creating a section for social media (FC) will be stepping up its game above the rest. Would push on this. 

Wallets should already be thinking this direction. Diversify sections to meet chain traffic (including & aside from FC)
