Some cohort of bot farmers decided the best way is to create a 1/1 signer on their account - 11K on this query to be precise. There are some 1/1 signers that are devs testing stuff locally, but many are clearly bots. https://dune.com/queries/3779146/6354323 This reveals an interesting new anti sybil mechanism on farcaster - if the user has no signers that are not well known apps they are less likely to be programmatically casting (although they still could via web automation scripts)

I hope it will not be a new anti-sybil mechanism 😃 not just because there could be lots of devs, but also because programmable casting could be useful for more than just spam. For example scheduled casting. Plus, managing your own signers solves the problem of deleted casts after app signers are revoked

Ohhh interesting take. That's a good way to filter them out. Though if owners of the bots knew about this they can just simply sign every account to a known app
