Do you view that cast differently today? Last year you were building a FC client and FC had what, maybe 1k dau? In a lot of new markets, when do you build with a vision that people will be there even though no one had an acute problem you’re solving today?

Hm I don't think I see it differently. If you start from fundamentals and focus on things like retention and UX, user growth will take of itself. Growth in consumer social often happens not at all, and then all at once, growing a magnitude or more

- so it's a lagging and noisy metric to look at a low num of registered users as reflecting nonprogress
