did a lite version of that yesterday, pretty cool, not much of a scuba diver tho so just snorkeling for me.

did a live aboard for 3 days in cairns. they take you out to the reef, provide meals, and have guides for scuba. incredible experience, especially the stars! well worth the money, think it ranged from $500-$1000 depending on how many dives you go on.
