Right, IMO it’s like the early days when people would ask “what happens when nobody bids on the daily Noun”, someone would’ve just bid 0.001E on it. I think only a severe coordination issue would yield a true burn, someone would come up with at least a half decent proposal.

I've made a thing https://webring.wtf/ What if every Nounish site had a StumbleUpon "Stumble" button that'd take to you another random Nounish site? Inspired by Joel aggregating frontends into a single page and by the 2000's. Give it a try, message me if you want added but don't want to deal with opening a PR.

Nouns Native Computing: - Similar to CNCF, hub that provides a venue for development and coordinates discussion and cross-polination - Projects can "graduate" into it by implementing N% of Nouns protocol or providing other "universal" function - NNC could pay staff devs to maintain critical utilities that are "boring"

I wonder if there's a way to detect if the browser can resolve `ipfs://` addresses. I know Brave has had native support for a while but do they set a feature flag or something...

That’s correct. All signed proposals and votes are stored in a central Postgres instance. We’re developing Prop House protocol though which will allow us to take all the data directly to L2. Off-chain is our MVP. Prop House RSS endpoint is a fun idea!

I'm in a mood where I miss IRC again. Either you were online or you weren't. If you weren't online there was no backscroll and someone had to catch you up or you hoped someone blogged/wiki'd/talked about something on a mailing list. Might try closing out Discord most of the time... ("but bouncers!". no, wrong. 🙃)

How would the Farcaster community feel if the SEC had an official account here? Remembering government orgs get accounts on three different alternatives-to-Twitter over the last year to very mixed reviews. Naturally very linked to the community and regionality.
