Interestingly, I think 1 is Yes but 2 is No

Put differently: FC has clear signs of PMF but the core innovation isn't the driver, at least not directly, at least not yet

FC for now seems to be attracting a certain community and offering that community a place to congregate that has a higher signal to noise ratio. There's someone (need to find 'em) who had some great points about: are you building a platform to foster a new community, or are you building a platform for an existing one

Each of those modes have different requirements for success and have different value adds. I think _for now_ FC is more of the latter which means as long as it's not hostile and the community identifies with it, it should be fine. As more people build on it, maybe the former becomes more true.
