A user got their wallet drained after they downloaded a file that an attacker sent them over Warpcast DMs.

Curious about the specific exploit- was it on mobile or desktop? Any more info about it?

I got hacked over a DM on X. I downloaded a game on the site they shared.

After downloading the game. I tried to install on my Mac then it requested for terminal password to progress.

This was when they got access to my root password and injected a script that sent seedphrase, password and username of all wallets.

So sorry to hear it mate - I actually had that happened with me last year and i double checked it with my friend before downloading anything.
