for me, it's easy. i have a big backlog of things i want to add to scope yet i never look into it. i'm a dau of my own product, so i just build what i think is missing the most could be a bug, an improvement, or a feature — doesn't matter, as long as it provides the most value for the whole product

Imo it is contextual. But for me it would be this (biased by the product i work on) 1. Bugs blocking users from using the prdt or frustrating UX flows (imp. for retention) 2. Features most asked for & brings significant value to user (imp. for retention & acquisition) 3. Any new innovations/ideas 4. Low hanging fruits & Everything else.
