one reason that crypto never hit mainstream is the lack of product thinking the focus is on infra / tokenomics / protocols the narrative is completely detached from making great products

controversial but polymarket is a terrible product: clunky, unintuitive, hard to use it got adoption because it allows ppl to speculate

it’s also because we had far lesser product owners move from web2 to web3 most are crypto first devs, coming from the hard-core dev and far lesser from a place with completed consumer loop

that's mostly true, a lot of people in this space are focused on aspects, that are not understood by people outside of the crypto bubble

I tend to take a deterministic that it was always going to be this way. The mistake was not in the focus on infra, but in thinking that we were closer than we were on apps and adoption.
