Hey hey Farcaster. Deciding what to build next in the SONGS MiniApp. I’m leaving it up to the Farcaster music community! Mini thread ⬇️🧵 First what is SONGS? /songs-tools is a platform for music artists and fans: For artists: • Create their music projects • Distribute their music to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.) • Manage all you music earnings in one unique platform. • Share ownership of music via songshares Songshares: • Are tokens that represent a share of the song’s digital streaming royalties Artists can use them however they want: • Selling part of their songshares to get an advance on their music (like labels do, but decentralized and community-driven). • Send them in exchange for music services • Just present part of your music to someone you love. • Any other stuff you can imagine...

So if I use the platform, would I be able to replace distrokid for instance, and release to streaming platforms from /songs-tools

Gotcha, you can migrate into SONGS your already distributed music and get your Royalties in USDC. ;) Create SONGS Account -> Migrate music
