I've decided to try releasing 100 songs in 100 days in 2024. I'm doing this to help myself develop as a producer, video editor and songwriter, and I think this is a great way to help improve my technique. This first song was posted on my instagram on the 1st of Jan, and I'm now adding it to all my socials. It's kind of a power ballad type song with orchestral backing. I will also upload another song later today. I hope by the end of this project that I have improved in all these categories, and would love some feedback, tips, and to collaborate! For instance I have no idea what to do with my face in this recording😅

When you write a song, do you have a band or a singer in mind for whom this song would fit perfectly (no matter if it's realistic to get them or not)?

The honest answer is no, because I am doing this to help myself improve at singing amongst other things. That being said, I take a lot of inspiration from Myles Kennedy and chris cornell, and I will in the future be writing songs in the style of these guys and a bunch more, and I think writing a song for a voice like them would be a fun challenge, though filming myself singing in the range of those guys will be a great challenge too.

Oh, I see. I've read somewhere that when Sia writes a song she already has a specific person in mind who could be the singer, that's why I wondered if you do the same (you've mentioned you wanted to improve as producer, video editor and songwriter in the first post) 🙂 Either way, I agree it's a good way to practice all these skills (including singing) with your 100-day challenge, so keep up the good work 😎 Btw, I thought this song could fit Franz Ferdinand, if it makes sense 😁
